Modern Foreign Languages

At Thorncombe St Mary's, all children from Reception through to Year 6 benefit from French lessons.  The youngest children sing songs, play games, share books and cartoons.  The older children progress to speaking French in conversation and recording their work in French.

The Kapow scheme of learning is used to support the teachers and children in their French lessons and provide them with excellent interactive resources.
